These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of Nexschools (the "Service") by schools and their authorised staff, parents and students ("Users"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Nexschools is a school management platform covering academics, attendance, fees, admissions, human resources, communication, and related administrative functions, made available to a School under a subscription.
Accounts are created and managed by the School. Each User is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under their account. Notify your School immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Access to the Service is provided on a subscription basis. SMS credit and Prima AI credit may be purchased separately as bundles. Fees are payable as agreed with Nexschools at onboarding or as shown in the School's Settings, and are non-refundable except where required by law. Continued access to paid features is conditional on the subscription remaining active.
You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, School, or part of the Service that is not your own; interfere with or disrupt the Service; upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content; or use the Service to send unsolicited communications. Access to another School's data without authorisation is strictly prohibited.
The School owns the data it enters into the Service (student records, financial records, and all other School content). Nexschools processes this data solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Prima, our AI assistant, may generate suggestions, comments, or responses based on School data and instructions the School provides. AI-generated content may contain errors and should be reviewed by a qualified staff member before being relied upon, printed, or sent to parents.
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, third-party outages (such as SMS or AI providers), or circumstances beyond our control may affect availability from time to time.
The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexschools is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
A School may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached, if payment is not made, or if use of the Service poses a security risk to other Schools on the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
